掌握材料、空间和色彩
安尼施·卡普尔(Anish Kapoor)1954年出生于孟买,目前在伦敦生活和工作。他是最著名的当代雕塑家之一。他对多种材料的掌握以及其作品在公共空间中的存在,使他在艺术和流行文化中确立了自己的地位和知名度。
安尼施·卡普尔青睐的材料种类繁多,有时甚至不寻常,包括水泥、锈蚀钢、玻璃纤维、PVC、花岗岩、雪花石膏、不锈钢、大理石、蜡和颜料。人造或天然材料被加工处理,通过固定和动态特性进行创作,形成一种成为艺术家表达媒介的形态。色彩和材料是卡普尔作品中的两个基本元素,它们成为艺术家沟通的载体。
