希思黎·哈发(Sislej Xhafa)于1970年出生在科索沃的佩亚市,目前生活和工作在纽约。他以对现代社会各种复杂性的社会、经济和政治现实的艺术调查而闻名。多年来,哈发将他的艺术创作集中在经济和社会主题、政治现实上,探讨它们与现代社会多变的多样性互动。他的探究,例如对旅游现象或强制非法行为的研究,使用简约的语言,同时带有讽刺和颠覆性,广泛使用从雕塑到绘画、从表演到摄影的各种媒介。
2022年3月,希思黎·哈发被任命为佛罗伦萨美术学院(ACCADEMIA DI BELLE ARTI DI FIRENZE)的荣誉院士。
2022年,哈发在科索沃的佩亚市创立了ARKIV当代艺术研究所。这是一家位于当前公共学校“Vaso Pash Shkodrani”的公共非营利性非政府组织,ARKIV于2022年7月以艺术家阿尔坦·哈吉鲁拉胡(Artan Hajrullahu)的个人展览揭幕。
