卡斯滕·霍勒: 探索人类行为、感知和逻辑
卡斯滕·霍勒拥有农业科学博士学位，接受过科学家的训练，他常常受到科学历史上的研究与实验以及当今科学发展的启发。霍勒对实验、人类关系的本质、心理状态及其背后的生物学原因充满兴趣。这些都渗透到他的互动装置和雕塑中。这些作品提供了能够激发观众各种情感状态的结构，如兴奋、困惑，有时甚至是恐惧。在他的职业生涯中，霍勒的作品涵盖了多种媒介：电影、装置、雕塑、复杂环境中的装置，以及绘画、霓虹灯的宏伟作品、绘画和摄影印刷品。他的作品成功地呈现了科学与艺术、美学与伦理、逻辑与感官之间的诸多对比，常常通过运动参与和互动装置或结构直接吸引观众。
