他在布宜诺斯艾利斯国家美术学院学习。马基认为,物体越简单和干净,它所能承载的引用就越多,与我们的关系也就越个人化和情感化。这种“斜向策略”和尖锐的黑色幽默感是他作品的特点。

 

这位艺术家经常从报纸中汲取灵感,报纸是基于事实的信息档案的典范,他的作品也常常源于轶事、偶然和日常生活。符号被默默地解构,然后按照“陌生化”的过程重新拼凑起来。马基明显对边缘、结尾和碎片感兴趣,即那些被遗留在我们身后的东西。在他的宇宙中,一切都在过渡中,处于不稳定状态。没有什么是永久的。他的作品反映了缺失感,这种缺失像每一个存在一样强烈地组织着场景。他是一个充满失落和怀旧的艺术家。
