庄辉:真实事件、人物、地点与直接体验

 

庄辉,1963年出生于中国甘肃玉门,现居住并工作于北京。庄辉是一位多才多艺的观念艺术家,他的主要艺术活动包括行为艺术、雕塑装置和摄影。生于甘肃省的庄辉将他早期对艺术的兴趣归功于他的父亲,一位巡回的工作室摄影师。行为艺术是庄辉作品中的一个重要部分,虽然不总是在公众面前进行,但对于作品及其实现至关重要。庄辉最著名的作品包括令人印象深刻的装置艺术以及用超长画幅相机拍摄的一系列大型工人集体肖像。庄辉的创作一直受到人文关怀和美学关注的深刻激励。虽然他的作品涉及广泛的材料和方法,但几乎所有的作品都围绕着真实的事件和地点展开。他的作品核心是对我们生活时代中潜在的政治理想的直接体验,这些理想在现代性的冲击下正在逐渐解体。
