希思黎·哈发(Sislej Xhafa)于1970年出生在科索沃的佩亚市,目前生活和工作在纽约。他以对现代社会各种复杂性的社会、经济和政治现实的艺术调查而闻名。多年来,哈发将他的艺术创作集中在经济和社会主题、政治现实上,探讨它们与现代社会多变的多样性互动。他的探究,例如对旅游现象或强制非法行为的研究,使用简约的语言,同时带有讽刺和颠覆性,广泛使用从雕塑到绘画、从表演到摄影的各种媒介。

 

 

2022年3月,希思黎·哈发被任命为佛罗伦萨美术学院(ACCADEMIA DI BELLE ARTI DI FIRENZE)的荣誉院士。

 

2022年,哈发在科索沃的佩亚市创立了ARKIV当代艺术研究所。这是一家位于当前公共学校“Vaso Pash Shkodrani”的公共非营利性非政府组织,ARKIV于2022年7月以艺术家阿尔坦·哈吉鲁拉胡(Artan Hajrullahu)的个人展览揭幕。

希思黎·哈发:将艺术与空间体验相结合

 

希思黎·哈发将艺术与空间体验相结合;当他的作品与特定地点的能量相遇时,这种能量被激活。他将材料、意义和形式进行并置,常常将它们从原有的语境、地点和时间中剥离,以创造出不依赖于壮观效果的视觉力量。哈发认为,身份是不断变化的,因此,运动和迁移对于价值体系的形成至关重要。他的作品展示了围绕身份构建的这种运动,既代表了物理位置的变化,也象征了意义、情感和思想的转变。他的作品涵盖了从雕塑、绘画到表演和摄影的多种媒介。通过作品与社会或历史叙事之间的复杂关系,希思黎·哈发摆脱了明确的标签和分类;位移和我们身边不断变化的社会习俗是他艺术创作中的两个重要主题。
